WORKSHOP
Mastering TPM Fundamentals
With Ross Kennedy
Overview
This workshop draws on more than 25 years of hands-on experience supporting over 150 manufacturing and operational sites across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Indonesia on their journey toward TPM and Operational Excellence.
If you are frustrated by production equipment and processes that do not run reliably or consistently, this training is designed for you. The workshop introduces Australasian TPM - a practical, people-centred approach that progressively engages teams to identify and eliminate equipment losses as early as possible.
Australasian TPM focuses on developing capability across the organisation while improving safety, quality, delivery, plant and equipment performance, supplier and inventory outcomes, and team morale - all with a clear line of sight to sustainable bottom-line results.
What You Will Learn
By attending this workshop, you will gain practical insight into:
-
The evolution and first principles of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including how Toyota developed TPM as a foundation for the Toyota Production System and Lean
-
The essential foundations of TPM, including performance measurement, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ownership, engagement, and ongoing improvement for long-term sustainability
-
The core pillars and key activities that underpin effective TPM implementation
-
Why the right organisational structure and roster alignment are critical enablers of TPM success
-
How to apply an improvement framework that recognises TPM as an ongoing, organic journey rather than a short-term, project-based initiative
This workshop is grounded in real-world experience and is designed to support organisations seeking practical, sustainable improvement rather than theoretical models.
