EVENT OVERVIEW
Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions is a leader in design and development of special purpose assembly equipment. Bosch Australia won the 2018 Manufacturer of the Year Award (Large Business) at the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards.
Bosch Australia has done a great job over an extended period to ensure ongoing competitiveness and innovative strength. Last year Bosch Australia manufactured and exported about 120 million automotive power diodes. The company has also made sizeable investments in manufacturing for the global automotive sector including A$8.5 million investment to increase diode production capacity in 2018. Its Manufacturing Solutions business, which was founded in 2015, now manufactures special purpose machines, manufacturing equipment and services to the manufacturing sector locally and overseas.

A look at a Industry 4.0 in action. A tour of Bosch’s main manufacturing facility in Australia where power didoes are produced for a 100% export market. The facility has a mix of older & state-of-the-art equipment and demonstrates how I4.0 can be applied. Then a further overview of the practical elements that can be applied today in real world manufacturing in the BAMS demo area.
