Conference Insights to Excellence Tours Showcase Best Practice in a Non-Traditional Lean Environment

As a part of the 2017 AME Leading Through Excellence & Innovation Conference, 25 Conference Delegates and AME Members from Australia and NZ had the opportunity to visit Melbourne Zoo and Pacific Brands Underwear Group. Both companies showcased best practice examples of how top management strategy is seamlessly deployed and measured, in a very practical way, at the shop floor level.

Attendees gained a unique insight into how leading-edge continuous improvement solutions can be creatively implemented into non-traditional lean environments.  Many ideas will grow from this behind the scenes insight. Thank you to both organisations for your contribution.
