Powerful Cultural Change for Safe Work
Modern organisations no longer question the value of working on their safety culture. Over the past 20 years or more, various systems, processes and frameworks have been developed to understand and improve culture; and organisations have expanded the emphasis to include wellbeing, health and safety. Even so, we’re at the early stages of unpacking what it takes to have a ‘safe mind’ as well as a ‘safe body’.
This event highlights the fundamentals of building culture and what makes a safety culture program actually succeed. Industry participants provide lessons from the field by exploring the challenges of building culture successfully while addressing key issues like fatigue management, contractor safety or continual improvement. Participants will produce a Health and Safety Cultural Reliability Insight of their organisation via interactive survey and reflect on opportunities to build their culture in a positive direction.
