Powerful Cultural Change for Safe Work

On Friday 4th March 2022, AME hosted a Webinar on the topic, Powerful Cultural Change for Safe Work.

We welcomed guest speakers Oliver Bodak and Martyn Bradfield from Safety Circle who chatted to us about building a successful culture of safety. They highlighted the fundamentals of building a culture and what makes a safety culture program actually succeed.

Oliver and Martyn were joined by Derek Vanderheide, from TasRail, who provided lessons from the field by exploring the challenges of building culture successfully while addressing key issues like fatigue management, contractor safety or continual improvement.

In this interactive event, participants had the opportunity to produce a Health and Safety Cultural Reliability Insight of their organisation via interactive survey and reflect on opportunities to build their culture in a positive direction.
