EVENT OVERVIEW
Registration has opened for the March Operational Excellence Breakfast. This month's topic is 'Creating fearless organisations'. We welcome guest speaker Wendy Hall. Wendy works with senior leaders to understand their organisation’s current culture and how to create a psychologically safe environment.
AME HOST
This event is hosted by Simon Flack, AME QLD President. Simon’s interest in continuous improvement was sparked during his 21 year career with the RAAF. He completed his Master of Business Administration whilst he was part of the Air Force Improvement Team, before joining Rio Tinto as the Lean Improvement Specialist in the coal division. He consulted to Chevron and Conoco Phillips whilst being part of the Canadian based RLG International, before joining Darwalla as the Business Improvement Manager in 2017. Simon has formal qualifications in Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management along with extensive experience in leadership and organisational behaviour.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Dedicated to the journey of continuous improvement and enterprise excellence the AME is committed to helping its members and supporters to share their knowledge and learn to grow together. Our Breakfast Networking Events are designed so practitioners can come together in an informal setting to explore Lean thinking and other enterprise improvement methods, exchange best practices and network in order to advance their careers and improve the competitiveness and overall value of their organisations.
