The AME Conference in Boston October 9-13 this year was attended by over 2000 delegates from all corners of the earth to seek the secrets of successful business improvement processes.
The learnings from the conference was more about leadership and less about the tools….
Gary Kerr from Leveraged LEAN, has been a delegate at every Nth American AME Annual conference for the past 17 years. He is so passionate about the value that can be gained from taking time out to “Sharpen the Saw” that he also facilitates a week of preconference best practice site tours for those AME members who accompany him. Gary has worked in the field of Lean for over 20 years and will share his experiences of the changing emphasis from tools to leadership over the past 2 decades.
Gary is a “hands on” Lean practitioner and works with some of Australia’s biggest companies to be globally competitive.
He will share his conference learnings and his insights on the influence that good leadership has on changing workplace habits.Special Presentation

Gary has brought rapid improvements to many Australian organisations over 10 years and is today recognised as being one of our most respected practitioners and leading implementers of lean . Formerly the Operations Manager at ADI Munitions Benalla, he transformed his facility using lean thinking. Gary is a past president of AME Australia and regularly takes benchmarking tours to the best practice plants in North America
